All part circle systems are required to have an approved physical barricade to provide a safety. Irritech provides two barricade options. One option is a portable barricade and the other is a stationary barricade. In both cases, it is critical that the barricade be properly placed and adjusted for reliable operation. Annual inspection of the barricade is part of the maintenance inspection.


Irritech End-of-field stop can be located on any drive unit, allowing the pivot to be stopped at preset points such as farm buildings, fence lines, etc. This system precisely stops or reverses the center pivot irrigation system automatically, when it reaches the barricade.
